Wallace & Barnes boiled merino wool donkey jacket

Merino wool is not good because all surface material comes out And attached on my shirt all. Installed inside other materials.

So, maybe I got a dud, but here's my experience with this item now owning both the wool and sherpa versions. I ordered both a large and medium for size comparison. I'm 40, 6' and 200lbs. average / athletic build. The large was too big, the medium was sorta snug but fit best. I wore for a full day before the left sleeve seperated at the armpit by day two. This was not a result of neglect. It just started to unravel. I was also pretty disappointed at how quickly and badly the wool was pilling anywhere the arms contacted the body. Like, normal wear stuff. I would've returned it for that alone w/o the sleev coming off. Sadly, this is the lowest quality J Crew or W&B item I've owned. All that said, I swapped out for the same coat, but in sherpa fleece and I love it. Fits the same, looks great, and hasn't fallen apart yet!

I purchased this jacket as a replacement to a rag and bone jacket I lost. It is pretty looking, but it is a bit tight for a medium - A little disappointed.

I had a lot of sucess this season with Wallace & Barnes sweaters. They fit and looked great. This, however, did not. The jacket was very snug, while all the regular sweaters were looser-fitting.
