Italian wool crewneck sweater

This is a lovely sweater. But, it does not run large. I wish I hadn't believed the other reviewers when I placed my order, as I'd have ordered a larger size. I really wish J. Crew would list measurements for their items, like most other quality online clothing shops currently do; even if it's just the actual chest measurements. It would avoid a lot of confusion.

I often receive compliments on my Italian crewneck sweater. The rich blend of greens are quite striking and stylish, as well. It is warm without being overly bulky. It has become my favorite sweater!

I'm liking this sweater more and more. I was cautious at first, because it didn't quite measure up to my unreliable memory of similar huge wool roll-neck ones I'd worn before. But then the moths hadn't got to this one. There's a lot of fuzz on Big Green. Solved that with an old hairbrush that no longer had much hair to brush. The yarn color, a dark green with some black in it, is distinctive and probably an old fashioned look. English holly (not Japanese) green is pretty close. Or yew green. Or privet texanum. The slightly larger fit is what I wanted. I telephoned the order to make sure my 19-in shoulder spread was considered. This sweater passes the cold weather cool test for Santa Barbara.

I bought this sweater in the store and have loved it ever since! The green color is distinct but not too overwhelming. It runs a little big which is something i'm fine with but you might want to try on before you buy. It is very warm as well. They only thing is that it sheds a little. I would recommend this sweater.
