Nice for the cold
January 22, 2019Looks and feels great. Very warm which is good and bad. The pockets in front are useful and dangerous because u bend over and stuff falls out. I usually wear medium and it fits. The head opening is a bit tight for me.

5 stars but with issues
January 12, 2019What is with J. Crew and their color displays? They have this nasty habit of brightening up clothing online and then when you get it in person it’s a muted and dull piece. While it isn’t a deal breaker in this case, the actual piece looks nothing like the photo. It’s way darker. It’s only a disappointment because you expect one thing and get another. The color is person is actually very nice, just not what I was expecting. Secondly, why is this so slim fitting? It doesn’t mention slim fit anywhere in the description, yet this sweatshirt is very much is. Neither of these issues is a deal breaker because the sweatshirt is very high quality and an instant classic. I just don’t like when J. Crew isn’t more upfront with what you are getting.

November 28, 2018Color is a more green than is pictured. Think olive colored. The material feels closer to canvas, but it gives the fabric a good textured look and feels durable. It doesn't have a lining, so the texture of the outside is the texture of the inside. I usually wear it over other clothes so the feel against my skin doesn't matter much other than for the look. Fit is good, but the head-hole is pretty small for me. I might just have a big head, though.
