Grizzly fleece pullover jacket

I hoped to like this sweater for it's warmth and versatility. But the sizing on this is WAY OFF! Most of my wardrobe is made up of J.Crew merchandise and I usually wear a large in tops but this was far and away the smallest large I've ever put on. By a size or maybe even two up from your usual size if you're considering it.

I bought this jacket in the cream color as a gift for my fiance. We are both obsessed with it. It is so soft and cuddly-- I want to hug him constantly when he wears it! He is normally a medium in pullovers/ sweaters, but we had to exchange for a large as his mid-drift showed when he lifted his arms. I recommend sizing up (unless you like a little mid-section breeze every now and then).

I wish J Crew had a real fleece option. While the fit is nice, the material feels like plastic. The construction is also a little strange. There is no inner lining so the pockets get in the way when you go to put it on. An additional layer would also make the jacket a warm as it looks and give it that additional level of quality. If the quality continues to go down-hill, I might have to switch over to Gant.

It feels good, except that it's way too small for me to wear. I'm closer to an XS than an S, but my size S is ridiculously small. I own size XS and size S shirting - from J. Crew - with longer sleeves and a broader chest than this piece. How do you make an outerwear piece that fits tighter than your shirting in the same size? I seriously thought I was sent the wrong size, but it's marked S inside. I'm seriously disappointed.

Purchased this fleece pullover in store during holiday season. I am 6'2" 205bls. I am pleasantly surprised XL is the perfect fit!! Despite the poly fabric - I'm typically not a fan of polyester - I absolutely LOVE this garment. One of my favorite buys for 2015 holiday season! Way to go, J. Crew!! I'm considering buying the grizzly fleece jacket.

My husband seems to really like this pullover. He usually has to order a Tall Large but in this I got him a XL and the sleeves are actually long enough. I love it. It is just so cozy.
