Waistband not sewn in place
August 20, 2023The elastic waistband is only surged to the panels along one end (the top), when worn, the loose bottom edge of the waistband often flips up and causes discomfort. I've never seen a waistband only half-sewn in, unsure if this is a factory error or design flaw. Additionally, the seat is too big while the front panel is too tight. Not at all like the previous pairs of cotton oxford boxers from J. Crew that I've been buying for 15 years...

The perfect boxers DO exist
March 16, 2023I've been a fan of oxford cloth boxers for literally decades. There is nothing quite like the feel of a pair after they've been washed several times. But I never found them in colors other than blue or white. Until now! J. Crew came through yet again, and solved that pesky problem. And, yes, it sounds silly. And it is. But I can now enjoy nice, soft oxford cloth boxers AND match their color to the other clothes that I'm wearing. Thanks, guys.

Just get diapers
December 8, 2022These have NO rear seam. Therefore you look like you’re wearing diapers. Especially bad if wearing lighter fabric pants as it looks like you’re carrying a little extra surprise back there. Very thick fabric, will last ages as long as you like the diaper look. JCrew can do better by LISTING IMPORTANT DETAILS such as no rear seam. Had no idea they made them like this; thought someone forgot to add the seam. Just silly.
