Quoddy® RL camp boots

So I bought these last fall, when it was showing that there were only a "few" left. I guess that's still the case. While I like the look of them, and they are somewhat comfortable but only because I wear soles, they're just not warm enough for winter. Even with winter socks, my feet are still freezing, no exaggeration. With Tax + shipping, they are shipped from the manufacture, the cost is around $400. They're way too expensive for what they provide, they're just attractive boots. The idea that it's hand-made appealed to me but again, too expensive and if you need boots for the kind of winter we are having in NYC, you should be able to find better ones for $400.
