Red Wing® Sawmill boots

With the gusseted tongue, padded collar, and 'commando' Vibram sole, these boots are great for inclement weather, for manual labor work, working around the yard/house, etc. Built tough and functional, as expected from Red Wing. Easy lacing mechanism. They are very comfortable and only require several days of break-in. These boots are also good for anyone into the 'workwear' aesthetic. These run true to size (Brannock), unlike other Red Wing boots. If you measure 8D, then buy 8D. I'm D borderline E, so they were a bit tight across the forefoot for the first week even with thin socks because of the removable felt insole. You can remove the insole for an immediately comfortable fit with medium weight socks, but if you bear it out, they'll break in nicely anyway. I might replace the felt with a proper insole. If you have wide feet, don't buy this model.
