7 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers generally liked these loafers for their sharp look, rich suede, and versatile style that works well with both casual and dressier outfits. Most reviews also praised the overall build quality and felt they offered strong value compared with similar high-end loafers. A couple of customers suggested skipping the recommended half-size-down approach and going with their usual dress shoe size instead. Overall, they come across as well-made, stylish loafers that are especially appealing at a good sale price.

Great Loafer but color is darker
September 8, 2021This loafer is really well made and looks it. The color is a bout two shades darker so just keep that in mind. Also, you may need to break it in for it to finally be comfortable. Its not the most comfortable shoe, but I didn't expect it out of a loafer.

Pleasantly surprised
June 9, 2021I own a lot of dress shoes of another brand in this style. However, I didn’t have the tassel brown suede shoe. These are constructed as well at a much much better price point. The insole is similar, and they even came with shoe bags. I got them at half off the sale price during a special sale for $118. Similar shoes in the other brand in this style run around $750. I thought before getting these that I might be disappointed and the shoes might be underconstructed and more suitable for a young guy. These are suitable for a middle-age guy like me.

Not the same as Listed Product
June 3, 2021I received loafers that look similar, but are not the same as the ones in the photos and description. I believe these were originally manufactured by Grant Stone in China, but the shoes I have state they were made in El Salvador. The pair I received have a foam insert over an indeterminate insole, not the "thick Italian leather" insole noted in the description or shown in the photos. My pair also did not have anything attesting to whether the suede is in fact from C.F. Stead; in fact, mine are a darker, more chocolate color, so I'd guess it's not the same as the shown snuff. Despite this, the loafers I received appear well made (for what they are) and are comfortable. I plan to keep them, but I would not advise paying anywhere near full price if you are expecting to receive what's being advertised. If you do order, I can say I ordered my standard dress shoe size and these fit just fine.
