Customers generally like these wool chore slippers for their sturdy, shoe-like build that works well around the house and for quick trips outside. The wool upper and lined interior make them feel cozy without being overly bulky, and the ties are a nice touch for getting a snug fit. Several customers found them comfortable after breaking in, and some chose to size up for the best feel. Overall, they come across as a solid, practical slipper with a good balance of comfort and durability.

Not fuzzy slippers
February 2, 2022I wear a 10.5 regular shoe. I sized up to 11 in these as my other pair of slippers are 11s. These are cavernous at 11 compared to my other pair of slippers. These are also very much more shoe like than slipper like. The interior is not "plush" or very slipper like in my opinion. I think these would be better marketed as very casual shoes.

nice, light-weight slippers
February 2, 2022These feel really nice when broken in, not overly warm or furry on the inside, with a sturdy sole so that we can do all the "chores" that J Crew clothes seem to ask of us. They're not as ugly and clunky as they might appear from the photos: they're slender if not elegant, and I like the wooly nap, the navy color, and the tie that allows you to snug them onto your feet. I tend to get 10H shoes but often find those too narrow (10H E is my natural size)—so I went with 11, and they fit very nicely, and again, the tie helps. These are my ideal slippers even after the household labor is done.
