Berkeley bucket bag in leather and calf hair

[Employee of jcrew] I Bought this bag and when I got it I was in love with it bought the boots to match it . Absolutely beautiful

First of all, I do love this bag. Classy, good quality & the navy/black is versatile soft blue suede/black leather.Great size! Now, for improvements to "raise the bar" on this bag. There is no inside pocket/pockets that are always needed. The top is open except two tiny straps that run from one side to the other & come loose after being tied but it's the only thing that keeps the bag halfway together. I realize small J Crew bags do have closures, ie zippers, in some cases, but this beautiful bag would really be 100% if it had a Real closure. I am keeping it for the size of it, and the positives I mentioned but Please put a zipper on your large open bags, for security. Also, the straps were adequate, but 1-2 more inch straps & it could be easier-body-wrapped at the top.At full price, small improvements are needed. I recommend this bag, because not everyone wants the top closed. My opinion only.

Purchased the matching booties to this print, and really like the look! It's a cow print but stylistically classier than the typical cowhide prints. As a result, it can be worn across all rural, urban, and suburban contexts without looking odd. Also a nice size - definitely could use as a daily purse filled with a brush, phone, keys, book, bunch of random (I always end up holding too much in purses and this still would work). Similarly, not too large to use as a dinner-movie night purse either. Big fan of this one!
