my only regret
January 13, 2026I had a feeling J.Crew would nail this one—and they did. If you like non-branded, high-quality leather, this is for you. The black is rich and the leather doesn’t feel plastic-y at all and the bag has "feet" to protect the body of it from the ground. The strap contrast is very dark; it didn’t bother me, but I wanted to mention it in case that’s something you notice. Overall, the quality is excellent. I plan to use this for road trips. I wouldn’t personally put it in an overhead compartment—but if you like a little wear and tear on your gear, you do you. Love, love, love. My only regret is not monogramming it. I’ll have to settle for a bag charm (or two).
