Camera bag in canvas

I loved this bag since it debuted on the site. I happened to go back recently and see it was on final sale -- of course, I purchased it! It's really sturdy and fits everything I need: iPhone, keys, wallet, mask, some makeup with room to spare!

Let me preface this by saying I order a lot of J. Crew merchandise online since the nearest store is over 2 hours away. I was really excited to receive this bag as it's exactly what I've been looking for. While the size and color are as expected, I was disappointed that the bag is piped in plastic/faux leather and has the same faux leather material on the bottom exterior of the bag. In the website description it only says the materials are canvas. Not only does this significantly cheapen the look of the item, it is WAY overpriced (considering their full leather version of this bag is comparably priced). I think pointing this out on the website description is important as people who can't see it in person will be disappointed (and possibly stuck with a crummy bag). Learn from my sad mistake and pass on this one unless you get a ridiculous sale and know that you're purchasing a fabric & faux leather bag. Very disappointing J. Crew.

Purchased this after viewing on a blog. I thought I would really like this, but it is very small. Even with it having a zipper opening, I find it challenging to get my keys, wallet, and lip balm in it. For the price I expected more from this. Wish I had returned it.

I have the leather camel camera bag from last year and the canvas bag is perfect for Spring/Summer! What I like about this is the strap which you can change out with other ones! It is small but I use a smaller wallet and its fine. My phone fits perfect so that's a plus.
