Classic large saddle bag in leather

I ordered the large saddle bag in leather. When I saw it in person the first thought I had was "this doesn't look like leather." Maybe it's vegan "leather" and I didn't read the description carefully. I looked for the tag inside and it read "cowhide leather." Unfortunately it just doesn't look like it, and ultimately the main reason I returned it. The size large is perfect for everyday essentials. The color is as expected; a dark warm chocolate brown. The shape is also as expected; it definitely has structure and shape, but it's not overly stiff. The only surprise and disappointment was that it doesn't look like leather, and that makes it look kind of cheap. I think you have to see it in person because the bag is surprisingly photogenic. I didn't bother removing all the wrapping materials from the bag (which you will see in photos) because I knew I was going to return it shortly after I saw it.

Loved the saddled bag. One issue was the inside zipper. The tab you hold to open and close comes off when you open the zipper.

I received this beautiful bag and I love It. I always admired this style. When I saw it in person I was even more in love. The leather is good quality, the strap is a great cross body. It's very roomy, all my essentials fit. It has a magnetic closure and a back pocket! My initials on it took it over the top. It didn't take long to ship, even with my initials. My coworkers all loved it too! I purchase two leather straps that are shoulder and cross body that have animal print hair to add more variety. It's all lovely. I feel like I'm wearing a thousand dollar purse!

This bag looked so beautiful online and had a lot of potential! I ordered it with high hopes after obsessing over it for weeks and pulled the trigger when it went on sale. Honestly, my first thought after opening the box was “oh…” The color isn’t as rich as the photos, more of a dark brown than brandy, and it really doesn’t have much structure. Based on the only other review, I was expecting a structured bag - but this one kind of caves in and doesn’t hold the shape. I’m so glad I waited till it was on sale but still disappointed as I can’t return it.

So this bag is a treat to the eyes for sure! I got it in large size and it has plenty of space. I have a thick fat wallet and it fit it pretty easily. A back slip pocket for phone. One zip pocket inside. Over all it’s good cross body bag. The leather is galvanized old school leather and not pebbled. So it has structure. The strap is slightly wider which looks good.
