Devon camera bag in leather with leopard calf hair

I love my Devon handbag. This version is slightly smaller than the all leather one. But it’s still a nice bag. I wish it was a bit larger; however, it’s not too small.

After carrying another brand’s pony hair bag as my primary bag for 4-5 years before wear began showing, this bag was incredibly disappointing. I have carried it for fewer than 3 weeks, and both hair and the underlying dye are beginning to wear off to reveal bare hide. Additionally, the brass zipper pull has lost some of its finish. Design-wise, weight placement and strap hinges make it just as easily flip upside down as hang right side up, so you’ll need to get in the habit of keeping it zipped.

Matches shoes perfectly. Wish the strap were a tad longer and there was a zipper compartment inside. Other than that, very cute. Perfect size for a night out and have receive many compliments!

I like the look of this purse however it seems a little lightweight and cheap to me. The leather strap was thin and cheap feeling. I will keep it since Jcrew charges 7.00 for every purchase you return. Also they don’t do returns after 30 days which makes it difficult when sizes are so inconsistent. I just have to be more selective with my purchases but I’m sure I’ll get use out of this.
