Small Montauk tote with crossbody strap

This is a great little bag for summer. I was concerned about the size, but for me it's perfect. It fits my phone, wallet, sunglasses and keys (with room for more) but it doesn't look or feel too big or bulky. The crossbody strap is great. I'm not wild about the drawstring closure on top, which I find awkward to use, but I guess it's more flexible than adding a zipper.

The 2022 Small Montauk Handbag with strap is beautifully made. It has nice upgrades in the removable shoulder strap & drawstring closure. However, it has shrunk in size substantially which is a disappointment. This bag is 6 3/4"H x 7 3/4"W x 3 1/2"D. The mini tote dimensions are: 5 1/4"H x 6"W x 3 1/2"D; 3" I prefer the usefulness of last season's Small Tote dimensions: 8"H x 9"W (13"W when flat) x 4"D. Would love the more practical size with the new upgrades... And honestly, I would prefer a simple zip top to the drawstring closure too.

I liked the idea of a bag with a cross body strap and small handles, but this bag exceeded my expectations. It's durable and stylish. There are clips to remove the cross body strap if you wish, although I bought it for that reason. It has a draw string top to the bag which allows me to fit in my Kindle, glasses, sunglasses, wallet, hand sanitizer, and sunscreen without having to jam them in and dig. It's just the right size as I saw on the picture. I can't begin to say how much I love it. The colors are great and fit with everything.
