Boyfriend blazer in shimmer tweed

I bought this blazer for my business - bridal alterations. My customers often look for something to be warm in cold weather - this is excellent piece that can be worn over the dress, skirt, etc. before/after the ceremony, court wedding, or anywhere else. I did want to let my customers know that perfect cover was easier to find: there was no need to spend time browsing massive selling websites ... The concept of the blazer is interesting. The quality is all right (there is still room for improvement.) I replaced dark buttons with white color buttons - looks so much balanced. I ordered size 0 for the manequine with the measurements: chest 33'', waist 25", hips 35". Perfect!

I love a chic white blazer -- and this one looks great with black jeans, wool trousers or a simple black dress. With its glimmery thread, I first thought it was most appropriate for fancier occasions, but I have changed my mind about that. This blazer is too pretty to save for special events. The model in the catalogue is wearing it with jeans, proving it can look great for everyday occasions. Note that it is a bit oversized.

I just received this blazer today. It's beautifully made, fits tts for the boyfriend blazer (I'm 5'5", 136#, a short waisted size 6), and allows for a mid-weight sweater to be worn underneath if you'd like. However, even though the description says "shimmer", I was not prepared for just how shimmery it actually is. Think Christmas tree tinsel shimmer. I think, for it to work, it will have to be paired with some denim + a white tee to tone down the shiny, special occassion-ness of the look. Still love it, great deal with the 50% off sale.
