Runs a Little Small
June 27, 2023I'm between sizes, but needed a suit that fits now and bought a large size than I normally wear. Based on the fit of a JCrew suit I bought during the winter I expected the jacket to be slightly too big. The larger jacket FITS. There is no room for extra weight. That said it's really pretty and I'm glad I bought it. Just size up if you're between sizes.

I was expecting more at the price point.
June 19, 2023Bought this jacket in my usual JCrew size, 12. For reference I wear size 36DD in bra. The jacket fits but I find it to be quite boxy and this could be the effect of the material. My greatest disappointment is the stitchings. There are double stitchings, twisted threads, hanging threads, etc in the front hem near the pockets & other areas. The style is great but the quality of the construction of the jacket was poorly executed (almost seem like it was created for the outlet store). I’m wondering did I receive a bad one in the batch of great jackets? It was also marked down to $198 & excluded from other promotions. I was expecting to love this jacket but sadly I’m contemplating returning it for that price point & quality.

My favorite Louisa jacket!
May 24, 2023I own several Louisa jackets and this is probably my favorite one to date! The pink color is beautiful! The gold buttons are probably my favorite thing about the jacket, right on trend. It fits true to size, I took a size 4 (125lbs 5,2) I also tried the size 2 which also fit but I felt more comfortable in the size 4. The material is lightweight, perfect for spring and cool summer afternoons. Can't wait to wear this nonstop this summer.
