What is up with JCrew Sizing
December 26, 2021I bought a different jacket using the JCrew size guide. It was way too large., but when I tried to exchange it it was sold out. I wasn't going to have that happen with this style.So I ordered 3 and returned 2. The Size Guide said I was an 8. So I bought the 8, 6, and 8 petite and ended up with the 6, and have room for a light sweater and it's not too tight. The blazer is classic and well made and the coloration is so rich. Sizing needs to improve in consistency and the sizing guide needs revamping. It is generic and not based on individual items.

New Favorite
November 16, 2021I love blazers, and I love dark, earthy green. This is my new favorite! The fit is what I expected, but the fabric is absolutely gorgeous. I've already worn it multiple times, and I imagine I will keep this one around for many years! PS thank you J. Crew for toning down the undercollar felt. I love wearing this one up with the heathered grey.

Classic English Tweed
November 13, 2021Big fan of Abraham Moon woolens, along with Liberty blouses, and faded real denim jeans. Add to that a nice cashmere pullover or a fair isle and you have a timeless look. This blazer is a good fit, albeit longer than my favorite School Boy. It works well with the straight leg jean of today. Of course, the buttons at the wrist work, something I am glad J Crew has not given up.on doing. Enjoying as a between season jacket worn on my daily long dog walks around town.
