A Beautifully designed coat!
January 28, 2021Love this coat. I have been watching foot my size to come back, size 0 for ref. 5’5 128 pds. It fits wonderful with room for a thick sweater underneath. I could have even gone for a 00 but that may be too tight under the arm. Happy with the size 0! Well made, substantial and the buttons are exquisite! Such a classic coat and J Crew never disappoints. My favorite store! They packaged it so well too. Worth the price! Highly recommend don’t let it get away!

January 15, 2021The pretty rhinestone buttons add a fun flare to this classic houndstooth check coat. I ordered one size up as it was tight through the underarm & shoulders (I thought the fact that it has raglan set sleeves would have given a more generous fit but like many other coats out on the market, the arms are cut a bit slimmer than I care for in my normal size - the next size up works great! Also not a thick coat, but I plan to use it more for a slightly dressier look when I need to go immediately from inside to car & vice versa (it is a car coat... ) - definitely not meant for extended time spent outside in the cold.

December 22, 2020This coat is exceptional. It was my Christmas present to me! It is such a standout coat which looks and feels darn good. I do agree wholeheartedly with the other reviewers who stated that this is not a winter coat unless you are perhaps wearing a heavier sweater underneath and then you zip from the car to your inside destination. TTS; I am 5'7", 105 lbs, and I purchased the size 2 The buttons are the show stopper. The black and white pattern is of course timeless. I totally recommend this coat.

December 5, 2020This is best purchase I’ve made anywhere in a long time! I love this coat and has just the right amount of bling (not too much) with the buttons. I’ll enjoy it for sure, as I sometimes like to add dressy items to casual styles and mix things up a bit.

Beautiful fall coat
November 17, 2020I love this coat! Just what I was looking for. Classic houndstooth but the beautiful buttons take it to the next level. Throw it over any outfit and feel pulled together. Not heavy enough for a winter coat but perfect for fall or spring. I'm usually a size 4 but purchased a size 6 and I'm glad I did. It's not too big and this way I can fit a heavier sweater under it.
