LOVE this trench
June 3, 2023Purchased the pink, though was a bit worried about it being too flashy/shiny. Not at all! LOVE this trench. Pros: Silver buttons, mortise buttons, decorative flaps, comfortable/substantive hood to stop rain Cons: None really Neutral: Size-wise, I bought a size 6. I'm typically a 6-8. It fits well and has room; however, if you want to wear thick sweaters on your shoulders, I might go with the larger of your J.Crew sizes.

it's just so-so 2 stars for the idea
May 17, 2023I just got this today and tried it on. I got it in navy blue in 12 I wanted to be able to wear a sweater underneath. The idea is good, the execution is poor. It has a weird fit, it's tight in the bust/shoulder area and I'm not busty, I'm 5'7" 141 lb now and 34D or 36C, 12 should've had plenty of room. It's water repellent which is good, color is good too. The other weird thing about it is that the part that is over the top back/shoulders, I'm not sure what it's called is totally sticks out when I'm wearing the coat. It's like really ridiculous! I can't return it because I bought it on final sale and maybe, just maby I can take it to the alterations and maybe they can do something about that ugly thing. Don't get me wrong, I love JCrew! I almost shop for all my clothes here because of the quality and reasonable prices but this thing is a total waist of my money, and like I said I spent a lot of money shopping at JCrew. I wish someone would read this review and help me with this matter
