Lightweight cinched-waist puffer jacket

I bought a Black one last year and jumped on getting another with JCrew Bday gift card! I love how warm, cozy and water resistant this jacket is. It comes to top of thighs in length on me. This is perfect for hopping in and out of car. I like to keep jacket on while driving in cold weather. My car uses a/c to keep windows defrosted and I don’t like a lot of heat blowing in my face. The coat is comfortable sitting not tight around hips and doesn’t hike up when getting up. Deep enough side pockets, placed within easy reach to warm hands. Best is it’s not too bulky and perfectly warm.

I was excited about this jacket because it looks very cute on the model but on me it's pretty disappointing. The waist drawstrings don't create much of a waist and they hit me at a weird spot. I'm normally a medium in coats and I got a small because I wanted it more fitted but it was still fairly large on me and I probably should have gotten a small tall because I needed it to be about six inches longer. It's also not very puffy, it's pretty flat, but it was very warm when I tried it on. The zipper was questionable and didn't zip easily and I wished they used YKK zippers. I think I'll be returning this and trying a different style coat because it didn't work on me.
