January 12, 2025This is a great jacket, but for the price I would have expected a removable real leather or suede collar instead of the tacky, cheap-looking fake leather/pleather collar it comes with. A real leather collar would have made this jacket perfect. The fake leather collar is so out of place it takes the quality of the jacket way down. Thank goodness it's removable! I'm normally a medium, and this medium fits me snugly - I can't wear anything too bulky under this, but luckily it's pretty warm. It's also a cropped and boxy fit. The lining could have been better too, as it's an ugly brownish beige. Love the jacket, hate the collar.

Jaw dropping quality
January 9, 2025The most high quality item I've bought from J Crew in the last year....and I buy a lot of J Crew. Very warm, very cool, but not trendy- feels like it will work for many seasons. Unique and special but so comfortable- the sweet spot that keeps me coming back. Don't miss this one!

Sizing is a little big if you’re slim
January 3, 2025I took off a couple of stars because of the sizing. The jacket is high quality, and definitely feels like a work jacket. The leather collar does bunch as one reviewer said. I ordered a small and it’s too big for me, so I’m a little disappointed in that the XS or maybe XXS (?) in this style would’ve been better. I’m 33’ across the chest and have a 25 waist, if that’s helpful for anyone else to gauge their size. I wish Jcrew did a better job of providing the sizing for each item itself instead of giving the same blanket size chart for each item. I ordered some hoodies a couple of months ago in a small and those were absolutely perfect size-wise. :S I wish I could exchange for a size down.
