Quilted shirt-jacket in mixed floral

Purchased the quilted jacket in mixed floral and so glad i did. This piece is beautiful in the mixed floral and unique. With a curvy athletic build, i do find the arms a little tight/restricted while wearing a Spirit Jersey under the jacket. I did size up as i wanted to be able to wear thicker items under the jacket, but i think i’ll have to pair it with tshirts underneath instead. Immediately washed and dried the jacket per the instructions on the tag and i think the jacket shrunk a little. I love that the jacket is a re-imagined piece and is 100% cotton.

Shell/lining is cotton but fill is primaloft (100% polyester), which makes it perfect for jacket function in a high desert, can add base layer and puffer to keep cozy in freezing temps. More fitted compared to the shirt jacket in wool (bought in blackberry), and gorgeous patterns/fabrics mix well with a lot of colors/fabrics. I’m 5’ 115” and size Small gives me room for layers, the length is great for me but would work on taller people too.

I’m short and shackets are not flattering on me. They easily overtake my frame and then add an illusionary 25 pounds. This quilted shirt/jacket has nice proportions. It feels more fitted on me but I could still get my Teddie sweater on under it and the colors matched spot on btw. It’s not lightweight, I feel it’s perfect for Oklahoma weather and should keep me warm and feeling pretty too in this lovely color. If you want a looser look, size up. The length of this Shacket did not overtake me, it hit exactly where it needed without making me look shorter. Im 5’1” and 175# and usually wear Large in tops and sweaters from J. Crew.
