Cocoon coat in windowpane Italian stadium-cloth wool

Wool is lovely. Windowpane is attractive. But the zipper--I found it especially awkward, perhaps because of the weight of the coat. RETURNED (and is very very slowly being shipped, one entire week in various NJ locations.)

This coat is truly lovely! I was a little worried how the beautiful plaid would play on my figure, it was either going to be flattering or make me look way larger than I actually am. Fortunately it was the former and not the latter! Somehow this makes me look thinner than I actually am. For reference I am 5' 10", 160lbs, 32 B, slightly pear shaped. I normally would have ordered a Tall 6 but this didn't come in tall so I settled on a size 6. It fits TTS, although slightly short in the arms for me, but I have long arms as I am so tall. I have yet to see if this collects dog hair or other lint (like the black cocoon coat I have does) but it's a really beautiful coat. I don't know if I just got lucky, but the one I received had perfectly matched patterns on the seams of the arms so it looks even better than the photo they used online. I was worried about that. Overall, a classic coat that I will be thrilled to wear for years to come. Love it!

Highly recommend. This isn’t the most flattering on my short body but it’s soft (doesn’t scratch my neck), high-quality fabric, wearable casually and professionally, and feels pretty warm. The window pane is pretty and timeless.
