7 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers like the classic barn-jacket style and many appreciate the updated details, especially the hardware, pockets, and overall look. The jacket gets mixed fit feedback, with some saying it runs small and boxy while others found it true to size, so it may be worth checking measurements before ordering. A few customers also felt it works best as a lighter layering piece rather than a heavy warmth option. Overall, people who liked it were happy with the quality and thought it was a solid buy, especially on sale.

Terrible cut
September 22, 2022This jacket is cut narrow/true to size in the shoulders but extremely boxy and huge in the body. Good if you're shaped like a perfect sphere probably. I am not so this jacket is really disappointing because I like the style and quality and details so much. My measurements: 5'4 124lb 34"-26"-37"

Runs large
August 12, 2022I purchased this on sale, but it’s very meh, even for the price I purchased it for. It runs large and is very boxy. With J-Crew, I typically wear an x-small in sweaters and xx-small in blouses and shirts, but I would have sized down to an xx-small with this coat.

Gorgeous blue color
July 25, 2022This barn coat is extremely cropped in length… I’m 5 foot five and I bought the tall and it’s still a bit short. The fabric is nice the zippers quality and the overall pockets are wonderful but there’s no lining in this coat and it’s definitely not going to be warm… Just a Spring later/ summer evening layer. I got it on sale, and liked it enough to pay a seamstress to put a lining in it. But it would’ve been just perfect if it was 5 inches longer, instead of a cropped length.
