Blazer-coat in Italian wool-cashmere

This coat is one of my favourite things J. Crew has made in a long time! The fabric is incredibly plush and sumptuous - it looks and feels so expensive. The boxy fit is perfect as I have broad shoulders and a full bust. I'm usually a size 8 or 10 in J. Crew blazers, and a solid 10 in their coats. I got this in a Medium and I still have room to layer a thick sweater under it. This coat is an ideal transition piece between seasons, or for chilly mornings and nights. I have it in two colours, pecan and black, and I'm obsessed! I would love for J. Crew to make this in light grey!

Love this jacket! - wonderful quality & well made! - very smart looking to add a little flair to run out for errands - have said it many times-J Crew hits the ball out of the park!!!

Coat fits true to size, great coat for mild winter weather. Wears like an oversized blazer.

I had previous bought 2 coats in different colors, but I had to return them because they were HUGE, even with thick sweaters. I usually wear a size S, which is what I had initially purchased, but had to size down to xxs for these to fit me decently. That is why I knocked down one star. I am not too fond of the oversized masculine look some blazers/coats have nowadays. I am a woman and I like to look like one and these coats do just that, even though they have a more contemporary lose fit. They are lined and the outer and inner fabrics are nice, soft but not very thick. I would have preferred them to be more substantial but they are fine for mild winters, like in the South.

Overall fabric quality is very good . However, Purchased this for my daughter in a small. It was huge! Ordered an xs. It was still huge in the shoulders and chest. But then too tight in the arms.

I absolutely love this coat. The walnut color is great!! Got lots of compliments. The coat fits great and is warm.
