Lovely coat
February 13, 2021A bit cramped below the waist, but I have a lot there. I would take a size up, but I am small and the sleeves and the coat itself would be very long. I want a miniature version of the same size and different color !!!

The perfect car coat I've been searching for...
January 31, 2021This coat just arrived today and I am in love! I was a little hesitant at first to by such a bold color combination (I purchased the orange one) and then read some reviews that it is a little boxy (especially since I am not tall) as I typically buy 4P in coats and there was not a petite option for this one. I did read all the reviews that it runs large so I sized down from a S to XS and it's perfect! I still have enough room to wear a sweater but it also doesn't feel "heavy" like some of the other wool coats I've purchased in the past. I'm 5'4", curvy, about 140 lbs and I don't feel like it makes me look like I'm drowning in it. Love the versatility of it- I can wear it with sweats, or glam it up wearing it over a back dress and heels- and it looks fantastic with hi-rise skinny jeans and boots or chucks! I have a feeling I am going to wear this every day!

Three compliments within hours!
January 30, 2021Wore it for the first time today and people were stopping me to tell me how great this coat looks. I thought the orange might be a bit too much but I paired it with the olive cashmere hat, gloves and scarf and it accented it beautifully. This coat is a winner! Old-style J. Crew quality and wool sweaters slide right into the sleeves because of the lining. I'm short (5'3" 127 lbs, big bust but otherwise evenly distributed) and the Small wasn't too long, just long enough and roomy enough for the two sweaters I was wearing underneath. If you don't live in a really cold area you absolutely could size down. The coat is nice and warm too and ooohhhh the material. Amazing quality.

January 26, 2021Such an attractive plaid (orange) and a lovely fabric and fun to wear, especially after I removed the belt on the back. (Size: in J CREW COATS I usually wear a LARGE or an XL, Roomy enough to wear a sweater underneath.. For this coat a L was fine. )

Cool coat
January 21, 2021I am normally wear a small or x small in jcrew, so to be safe since reviews said it ran large I ordered an x small. I actually could have worn an xx small in this coat. It has a cool vintage look so the oversized works well, but I still wish it was smaller since I am petite. Colors are gorgeous and just the right warmth.
