Alexa dress in Leavers lace

I bought this dress in storm grey for a bridesmaid dress and it was absolutely beautiful. In jcrew dresses I typically wear either a 0 or 2 depending on the fit and I purchased this in a 2 since it was more form fitted. It fit me great everywhere and was very flattering. I got compliments on it all night!

I purchased this in a size 2 as with the other reviews you have to perhaps try two sizes. For me 32 24 36 it fits a bit large. I have to have it tailored in the bust area and hip a bit. I purchased the "Champagne" absolutely stunning and elegant dress. Now at my height of 5'9" it's a bit shorter on me than the model shown. If only J.Crew would use model height as so many things are so short that I buy and the "talls" are huge even in a 2. Recently it has limited me from buying as I did with J.Crew. However, the dress is beautiful and worth the price including the sale at a bargain. Nice quality indeed.

I purchased this dress for a July wedding. The fabric and lace are very good quality and the dress has a good structure to it. The color poppy is perfect for a summer wedding. The dress runs slightly small due to the low cut on one side (I am usually an 8 (145lbs/34D) but had to go up to a 10 due to the bust). I had to do a bit of searching for the right bra that wouldn't show on the one side (ended up going with a sticky bra). Overall the dress is pretty and was a good buy.

I ordered this dress in the peony color to wear as a guest for a summer wedding, and I absolutely love it. The one shoulder style is fun and sexy without being over-the-top, and the color really pops. I wear a size 2 in J. Crew suit dresses, and this dress fit me true to size - curve-hugging without being clingy. As a note, I did not find the same issue with the top of the dress as other reviewers, but I have a smaller bust.

Fits well, flattering fit- though feels somewhat small. I'm usually a 6-8 but the 10 fits me in this dress. Someone loose on top- the side w/o the sleeve, so may need that tailored.

This dress was a disappointment. The lace and color (navy) were beautiful and felt very well-made. However I don't think anyone with any chest at all would look good in this dress. While the 00 fit perfectly well from the waist down, it was practically indecent at the top for my (32D) chest. The one shoulder style cuts so low that it not only exposed more of my chest than was appropriate for a bridesmaid, it was also just extremely unflattering. I ordered two sizes up hoping it would provide more coverage, but in addition to requiring extensive alterations on the bottom, it's just not a well-cut dress. Essentially, this is an empire-waist dress, which made my hips look massive and my chest look awkwardly small.
