light colors are see-through
August 2, 2023Love this style, cut and length (I’m 5’6, 125# and wear a 0) but the light lime green color is sea-through—to the point that no slip/spank/underwear/bra works. Can’t wear. So sad bc final sale. Would love in a darker color.

Great fit, kiwi color is see thru
July 8, 2023Bought a size 2 and the fit is perfect, but beware the kiwi color is very see thru. It’s final sale so I can’t return it but maybe it can be a (very) fancy beach cover-up?

pretty but not a great cut for me
June 17, 2023I like this dress but it makes me look a bit "hippy" The cupro fabric is beautiful and feels great on. The blue color is lovely. The cut of the dress was not especially flattering on me, however . If it wasn't final sale I would probably have returned it. For reference I'm 5'6" 128lbs 34b. Slightly bigger thighs and butt than upper body. I typically wear a size 2 in slip dresses,4 in body con or fitted (size 2 in this). I think because the neckline and straps of this dress are close to the neck the fabric has to flare out to accommodate lower body (making me look a bit bigger than I am). Might look great on someone wanting to accentuate hourglass shape or create curves.

Great Dress!
May 29, 2023I'm 5'6", 115 lbs, 34A, straight and slender build, and in the "over 50" crowd. I saw this dress online and had to try it on in my local store. It is a great dress on my body type and the fabulous sales team at Lenox Mall (whom I trust to tell the truth) agreed. I purchased the green color and know that this dress will be in frequent rotation for late spring and summer. It will easily transition into the fall with a jacket or wrap on cooler nights. Great job J.Crew!

Not the green pictured, odd fit for hourglass
May 28, 2023I just got this dress today in a size 4. First off, it's not a rich army green as pictured. It's more of a muted ashy tone making it much of a cooler tone than the rich warm army green in the photos. Shape itsn't great for an hourglass figure. The upper fits decent, although it doesn't lay flat where the darts are sewn. It's really long for someone 5'3...hits below my ankles. It comes straight down so my waist looks really big. I bought three other styles of their dresses and all had the same issue, probably not the right cut for me. Really wish this came in petite length, although I'll be returning because the color isn't flattering.
