Beautiful print, but iffy fabric
July 29, 2024Lovely print. The fabric itself felt a bit thin and cheap, very different from what I’ve experienced from JCrew over the years. Other J. Crew cotton poplin dresses I’ve had feel structured and substantial, but this one looks flimsier. It does come with a basic slip to wear underneath that is also removable. I’m 5’6 and the length hits above the knee. Overall, I would say this isn’t worth full price.

Beautiful, perfect dress!
July 1, 2024This dress is gorgeous! With the help of J Crew customer service, I was finally able to order this dress. Don't get me going on the issues with being in Canada and no more J Crew up here. So this is a shout out to the staff who made it possible to grab the right size from a store in the US after many frustrating attempts to order it myself, including a three hour drive to a US store, only to discover the website was not listing stock accurately. It is a Liberty Fabric, which is one of my favourites (I am a seamstress). The quality of the fabric, plus it was my favourite colour, meant I had to have it. While it is a tad on the large size, I'm OK with a little more room. It is no wonder it sold out quickly! It is beautiful!

A Wonderful Summer Staple
June 23, 2024I loved this dress for months now and was finally able to get my hands on it. I listened to previous reviews saying the dress ran large and I'm so glad I did. I typically wear a medium but bought a small. The dress fits perfect with a nice shape but is still roomy enough for comfort. Everything about this dress is perfect from the light slip underneath, the cut and shape, the qualities and the cherry on top is the darling pattern. I love it!
