FUN SUMMER DRESS
August 21, 2020I got this dress 3 weeks ago and have probably worn it 6 times! It is so comfy and cool. It's perfect for dining outside on hot summer evenings. I bought my normal size 4 and it was plenty roomy. I'm 5'5" 120 lbs and normally wear a size 4 in JCREW.

Horrible fit
July 20, 2020this dress run extremely large, i wear a Medium, however in this dress need XXSmall, also the elastic is of very cheap quality for the weight of this dress. beautiful dress horrible sizing and fit. so disappointing

Not flattering
July 3, 2020I love JCrew, fabric, quality, style and I usually follow the reviews when I am not sure. However, I must say that in this case I cannot understand the “flattering” reviews. This dress is beautiful but not flattering at all. Maybe it’s me and the COVID and changing from size 0 to 2 and now to almost 4, I am 5.5 125 lbs got an xs it fitted perfect but I felt like a balloon, the sleeves are too fluffy, without sleeves it would be perfect I thought about tailoring it... it made no sense. Had to give it back did nothing for me.

Extremely unflattering
July 2, 2020I bought this dress after reading the reviews about how flattering it is. Well, not on me! The enormous ruffles around the neck make me look wide in the shoulders and the middle makes me look like I have a belly, which I don't. Belt hits in an odd way, too. I look like a short, fat, fairy (I'm tall and not fat and definitely not a fairy) and I'm so disappointed and upset I bought it at final sale and cannot return it, because I will never wear it. Really bad. Yikes.

June 30, 2020This dress did not work for me at all. First of all the fabric is very voluminous. The colors are more vibrant than the image depicts which was the only plus for me. I have a slim, slender body type and I thought this fabric was a lighter weight cotton and would have a flowly ethereal feel. It did not. Its huge and not flattering for my body type. Very disappointed. Final sale so I cannot return. For reference I am usually an XS and this was 2 sizes too big.
