Belted tunic dress in pink vines block print

Gorgeous fabric, colors and design.. but what were the designers thinking as far as Sizing? I have never had a dress as large as this, marked Medium. The largeness is deceiving in the photo; it appears almost sheath like with the tie belt as pictured. I am so upset it is final sale. I never dreamed this dress would be completely unwearable because of the largeness. J. Crew, please do away with final sale, and if not, at least do away with it for us cardholders. This needs to be an added perk: No sale is ever final for J. Crew cardholders.

The pics are great and the quality not that bad, but the type of the fabric is just plain disappointing. It is a faded, “old lady” type of flowershing dress without any curvy cut, which makes it all even uglier. It doesn’t matter how curvy or pretty or tall or whatever you body might be, this is just an ugly dress that unfortunately I couldn’t return because it was bought online on this crazy sale. I wouldn’t warn you to consider buying something else. This is an ugly dress, period. The only positive aspect of the dress? Pockets! I am a sucker for pockets and it has it. I will have to wear it at home or give it to someone who wouldn’t feel offended by how bad quality and ugly it looks

I love the colors and the fabric is extremely soft and comfortable... I usually wear a small but the small was very large so I ended up ordering and XS. Overall, while very comfortable and colorful, this piece is not flattering at all. Will be good for lounging around the house.

I ordered size XXS and it fits my mom and she is usually size 10US :/ very disappointed

Instead, this dress is so terribly fitted. The colors are nice and the style is comfy but way too big. It’s ridiculously oversized. I could have literally made half another dress with the extra fabric. As some other reviews pointed out, it’s extra big. Like two sizes too big. I could have ordered an XS (I’m 5’9, athletic build and usually wear M). Not returnable either, so bear in mind you are stuck with it. The belt only makes it worse as it accentuates the extra fabric and makes it look matronly. Just what you don’t want: bulk and unnecessary fabric flow.
