November 10, 2020I’ll start by saying that I read all other comments prior to ordering a ssx which I never have worn. Crew im always a so. The commenter stated info on dress & where the pockets were situated on the sizes ssx & sx. She was also approx about the same weight & height as I, so I took the chance. She was correct & the ssx fits & pockets & arm holes (bigger on ss) are positioned where they’re suppose to be. I am 5’2” 100# Felt. I cld take the chance b/c I got on good sale, as I’d never ordered a dress on line b/4.

Weird sizing
October 22, 2020After reading that the arm holes are big on this dress, I sized down a size and got an XS. The dress was so tight, I could barely get it on. I returned it and ordered a size Small. The arm holes are so huge I will have to have it altered. The quality of this dress is very good.

October 3, 2020What a beautiful dress! Quality linen. I'm 5'10" 34Abust, 28"waist, 38"hips and the 4Tall fit me like a glove. Hem landed just above my knee. The only negative is that I waited to long to order (although I got a great price) and there are no more colors available in my size.

Received Item Looks Worn, Used and Shrunk
September 26, 2020When I purchase a garment from JCrew I expect to receive a 'new' garment, even if it's on sale. I ordered two size xs dresses in Black and French Blue. The Black dress fits perfect, love it! The French Blue dress in the same size fits smaller than the Black dress. Dress to dress comparison shows one is smaller than the other (see pics). Besides the size issue, the dress appears to have been worn. The seams are puckered as though washed or steamed, wrinkles at hips/rear/pockets, and the linen looks worn out, not new. I will keep on the look-out for another size xs in French Blue and see if JCrew will accept this item as a return (defective). Note: In July, I ordered and returned this dress in the color French Blue in sizes xxs, Small, and Tall xs; they didn't fit and were in 'new' condition. I'm 5'7", 32c, 28w, short-waist. Size xs is few inches above knees but style isn't sexy so it's fine. Nice shift style. Recommend.
