true to size but short
March 9, 2023This is a lovely dress, but looked better in the online image. The fabric was ok, but (while I am tall), it was both a bit too short, and very short-waisted on me, despite sizing up one. Loved the idea, but not the execution, unfortunately this one was not a keeper.

Great idea, not well executed
January 13, 2023The idea of this dress is great. The look of both shirt with skirt all in one, with gold accent buttons for some bling. However, it is ill-fitting in design. The waist comes up a bit high, the sleeves are way too long, and the skirt drapes with too much fabric. Final sale purchase and trying to decide if I want to even spend money on alterations (shorten sleeves & take in sides of skirt). Not sure if it would've even fit better if they offered this in a petite size.

Too short, feels inexpensive
December 8, 2022For those of us who still work in a traditional office environment, this dress is way too short. I had high hopes for this dress as a nursing mom, but the dress hits a little above mid-thigh (5'6" for reference), which, to me, is more of a mini length. In addition, I agree with the other reviewer who said the dress felt cheap - I agree. JCrew used chintzy plastic buttons and inexpensive fabrics for this one. Pass!

Perfection
December 7, 2022I purchased both the size 4 and 6- I’m in between and I kept the 6. It’s not short waisted - it’s average. If falls at a great length and I’m 5’6” not too short- not too long. This dress is timeless! Material feels quality with zip side, not see-through, weighty skirt that falls well.

Weird fit
December 2, 2022I had great hopes for this dress. Looks classy, but in person just looks cheap to me. The top is quite short waisted, and I am short waisted but still was off. The sleeves are super long on me, seriously cover my hands almost completely. The skirt drapes nicely, though, and the length is fine. Cannot recommend this dress, sorry.
