June 16, 2023I am almost always a 4 and that's what I ordered for this. The dress is a bit tight in the chest but it's still comfortable for me (32F). I think the hardest part about this dress is all the buttons (having to button...11 buttons probably contributes to making it feel tight, but once buttoned you're golden), but honestly I think it adds to the style and luxe quality. I have been shopping at J.Crew for 30 years and this one feels old school in the sense that the quality and detail are exceptional (although I may have to reinforce a few looser buttons). The fabric is very sturdy without being stiff. I do wish it had been offered in tall because I am long torso'ed and I could use an extra inch or two there, but I still love the dress. It's very short on me (5'11'') but life is also short so I'm just going for it. It fits similar to the model (Dear J.Crew: please include model measurements as this helps us gauge fit tremendously!)

Beautiful dress, but….
May 26, 2023Dress is beautiful BUT It feels like the buttons may fall off. Also, made from very heavy fabric and doesn’t have any stretch, not sure how comfortable dress is for longer sitting. I am still deciding if I will return it. Also, takes forever to close those buttons.

Perfect Dressy Dress For Sping
April 21, 2023This dress is beautiful and perfect for graduations, weddings, and spring parties. Im 5’3”, 129lb’s and bought the 8. The 6 would have been fine too, but feel the 8 gave a bit more wiggle room. The fabric is twill and doesn’t have stretch, so took that into account. It is very stunning!
