Button-front shift dress in cobalt floral

Fit exactly as described!

After reading all of the reviews, I took a chance on this final sale dress. It is so pretty in person! Its definitely a true shift dress so it's not fitted and that is something I need to get used to , but I love it. I did not find it it be too short at all, however I am 5 ft, 122 lbs and purchased the XS. It was just a couple of inches above my knees so for me it was perfect, but will probably still wear yoga shorts under it anyway which is what I typically do with a dress that is above my knees. I may have it taken in a smidge but it was worth it for me to purchase. Overall I love it and got it for a great price. The 4 stars is only for the fit of the dress, but that'smore of a me problem, and not with J Crew.

Love this dress! Yes it’s on the shorter side but i like that the neck is cut higher so it’s not too revealing on top too. The fabric is very light and colors beautiful.

A lot of the Reviews said this dress runs short . So I ordered a size up . I think if I would have ordered my usual size I would have been fine on length. It's a little big in the chest and body . But not so much that it is floating on me . I would have preferred the fitting on my usual size . But it still looks super cute! I am 5'3 128lbs . A 34 A

The quality, color, fabric & retro style of this dress were exactly what I was hoping for. The cut of this dress, however, was huge! I had ordered it somewhat last minute, for a friend's garden party. I wore it with a narrow belt & a cardigan tied around the waist, to give it some shape. I plans to have it altered after the Summer season. I'm debating if I should add a seam straight down the back or if I can just move over all of the buttons. I ordered a size large & definitely should have gone down a size! For reference, I am normally a size 12 in JCrew dresses (36DD) or a size 10 in their skirts.

i am 5'3' and so short. The material is excellent. Colors vibrant but to short. I wish I could keep it.
