I was suspicious of buying this dress but it’s great. Very cute, fun and flattering. I wear dresses all summer because they are easy, comfortable and look nice. I was looking for something similar for colder weather and this is it. Thanks j Crew love it

I was so hoping that this would be more fitted than it is, but between the vanity sizing and the generally Billie Eilish-level oversized fits that are trending now, that just wasn't meant to be. This is definitely a trendy piece, not a classic. I'm 5'7" and it hung nearly to my ankles. The color is a very yellowed ivory, which works on some skin but makes mine look sick. The quality was decent considering it's a blended wool, but it seemed like it would pill after a wash or two, and definitely not be built to last. If you're looking for a sweater-inspired nightgown, this is the ticket. For any other purpose of wear, look elsewhere.

This dress in the beautiful caramel color is gorgeous and with heeled boots looks very sophisticated, maybe add the perfect scarf. I love the cable pattern and the weight of the dress is perfect, warm but not heavy. I am 5'2" and normally wear a 12 and purchased the med/large and the fit is relaxed and comfortable, perfect. You will love this dress!

I am glad to see J Crew has brought in classic pieces. I purchased this dress in the ivory, definitely will need a nude slip under it but it is the perfect weight. Looks wonderful with boots, booties, flats. I am 5'5 120lbs 32DDD. it does not tent on me with a large chest, it could be a tad more form fitting but for me at 50 it lays beautifully. A very classy piece. Well done J Crew!

This is an amazing find! I was hoping this came in petites but checked out the regular anyway. I am 5’2”, 117 lbs with an average build and chose the XS/S in heather camel. The length hit at the lower calf which is where I wanted it to be. The fabric is very soft and with a bit of stretch, yet will retain its shape throughout its lifetime. The fabric also has merino wool and alpaca woven within therefore will be sufficiently warm enough without over layering during winter days. The classic diamond knot pattern provides additional appealing texture. It hangs loosely with an oversized silhouette. The neckline is generous and a beige shimmer cami peaking from under will accentuate this classic. I plan to wear this with heeled booties or open toe block heels, and perhaps a matching loose thick belt if the mood calls for it. Alligator accessories will also look amazing with this piece. This will spark joy to the colder months here in the Windy City for many years to come.
