Runs huge - SIZE WAY DOWN!
November 7, 2024I first ordered this in the dot print in a 2X - I usually order this size in J.Crew shirtdresses because I like them to be very oversized. I am broad shouldered, typically a 16-18 and wear a 40DD/DDD, and am 5'7". The 2X was enormous - not just big. It was comically large, pooled on the floor and the cuffs started past my fingertips. In my size, the print looked very circus clown, unfortunately. Quality was outstanding however - fabric has a really good three-season weight and soft handfeel. I reordered in solid white in a LARGE, which I have not worn in decades. It arrived today and fits exactly how I want. Still PLENTY oversized everywhere and the correct length. Size down 3 sizes! This never happens to me - trust the review! The solid white's buttons are sewn on with different color threads, which is a cute detail.
