Collection bow-front cutout midi dress in stretch taffeta

Gorgeous dress though fit is noteworthy. Major wins: The bow chest (so chic), the pockets, the taffeta material, the elastic waist of the puffier skirt Noteworthy Callouts: The chest runs tight. Sure it has elastic in the back allowing you to get it over your shoulders, but I'm a very average chest (36B), and it's more fitted on me despite me sizing up to an 8 (typical J.Crew dress size is 6). If you have a larger chest, the bow chest will be quite fitted, possibly tight, for you. Sizing up means the elastic waist is a bit large for me, but nothing unwearable. Tl;dr - Definite purchase but depending on your chest size, you might need to get creative with sizing

This dress is gorgeous! The fabric is really light and the cut gives it a little swing - it’s not at all a typical stiff taffeta feel. The top has an elastic back and adjustable straps, so I imagine it would be quite forgiving on a lot of bust sizes even without tailoring. The quality also seems excellent. It feels and looks carefully made and well constructed, like the kind of dress you can have in your closet for years and years. If they did it in more colors I’d buy a second in a heartbeat.
