Collection fitted flare-hem dress in luster crepe

Unfortunately this dress was a miss for me. It runs big, as all JCrew size 12 dresses fit me. It was extremely big around the hip and backside area. Also, the dress I received wasn’t as pictured. On the website it shows a dress with a very structured neckline. Mines came very droopy which added to the “too big” feel. It’s unfortunate because it’s a gorgeous color green and the material feels very luxurious. I purchased it final sale so I will give it away.

This is a beautiful dress. I love that the straps are more generous than thin spaghetti straps which gives it a more elegant and polished look while still being sexy. The fit is great, I am a bottom/hip girl and typically when a fitted dress fits my hips well it is loose in my waist and back but not in this dress it is meant for curvy girls! I bought a size 14 and it fits me perfect, true to size. The fabric has some sheen but it is not as shiny as a satin and I like that vs a true satin sheen.

While this dress is beautiful and a great silhouette, the stitching at the neck/bust line does not exist. I ordered two of this dress in different sizes because I was unsure of how it would fit. Neither of the dresses has the stitching across the bust area like in the pictures. This is unfortunate because the lining now slightly shows at the top. While I am keeping the dress and having the neck line fixed, it disappoints me that an accurate picture was not shown.
