Pleasantly Surprised
February 1, 2024[Employee of jcrew] I've bought J Crew Collection dresses before, and they tend to run small. I normally wear a Size 2 but, I purchased the red in a Size 4. It fits perfectly. The color is beautiful and a true red, as the photograph shows. I usually don't order halter dresses because they are uncomfortable and quite childish looking, in my opinion. But this one is an exception. It also hangs well and is very flattering on. I'm 5'3" and I could wear this dress without wearing heels. I bought it on clearance and I'm glad I did. I highly recommend taking a chance on this dress if you're thinking about it.

Stunning Timeless Piece
January 18, 2024I cannot believe I found this amazing piece at 70% off! It is stunning! The fabric is soft and the print beautiful. It definetely runs small. I am a solid size 2, 27 in jeans, and thanks to the honest reviews I got it in size 4. It is just a perfect, versatile, and timeless piece.

January 17, 2024Adorable - but get your normal size. I’m typically a four and sized up per reviews and I’m wishing I didn’t. The size is a bit too big and I’m going to have to get it taken in a wee bit so I don’t show my bra.

Beautiful for any event
January 6, 2024Wore this for new years and it is stunning. I ordered my regular jcrew size 22 and it fit great. Normally, I'm a size 20 in most brands, but size up to 22 for jcrew, for reference. I'm 5 foot even and it trails on the floor about an inch with 3 inch heels. The fabric is dreamy and I felt so pretty.

Fits small
Nice dress, runs small and long on top
December 15, 2023I agree with the other reviewers that the top runs small, through the waist. I'm a 4 in J. Crew dresses, and that's what I ordered. It fits, but it's definitely snug in the waist. The top is also long, so that I have to tie the tie tight to keep it up all the way (so that it's not bunching at the waist), which makes the neck very high. The fabric and style though are nice, and it is lined through mid-skirt. At 5'4, the back just hits the floor. If I had tried it on in the store, I would not have purchased it. It would look lovely on someone slender and tall with a longer torso.
