Collection one-shoulder silk-Lurex^® blend dress in lily swirl

My stats (& review) mirror Brittany's. I bought this with no place to go but based on the early reviews. It's unique, interesting metallic blend to the fabric, great print and you can wear a strapless bra with it. I feel like it's great for many body types. Plus it's attractive but appropriate for many ages and occasions. I took a gamble and bought it, glad I did, because I doubt I'll see something like this again or on someone. Fabric is crinkly and not sure how comfortable it will be but it's for short periods of wear.

I didn't notice this dress until a j.crew blogger, Raynetta, wore it. She made me want to purchase it. She looked gorgeous in it. Seeing her outside vs the J.Crew studio help me see the beauty in the dress. I purchased a size 16. I'm tall & well endowed up top. The dress shoes your back. I have back kove handles. I'm a little less confident about them but its okay. It's life. The dress is light weight and I suggest you pair it with a great clutch. Pros: the fabric is amazing. Very Light weight. If packed correctly it reach any destination for great formal attire. Cons: you can't wear shapewear with it.

Love this dress! The pictures here dont do it justice. In real life the material is a bit more shiny and looks very glamorous. Random people came up to compliment me on it :) For reference, I am 5'6 and 125 lbs and I bought a size 2. The top is a bit loose on me since im a 32C but the bottom fits just right I wish the lining was a bit thicker so that the top layer wouldnt itch so much

I overnighted this dress for a wedding that I had nothing for & wow it was worth every penny. This dress is gorgeous IRL, there is a romantic easy elegance to it that just makes you want to twirl. The wedding had 350 people & about 200 of them came up to me to talk about this dress. It’s a statement without being over the top. If you are a D-cup or higher then size up, otherwise you can go TTS. The way the dress is designed it’s fine to have the bottom portion be a size up, just gives you extra fabric to twirl the night away. P.S. It is lined so the lurex fabric won’t give you the heebeejeebees (technical term).
