Cutout cotton poplin dress in midnight floral

Had high hopes, but must spend money to tailor or give away as overall effect is quite dowdy. If you are thin and straight this might work as is. If you have curves - I am 145, 36DD, 5’ 6” - it magnifies your size and looks like you’re wearing a tablecloth. It made me look heavy on the bottom which I’m not, emphasizing hips and hiding legs. With the large puff sleeves, and the tie in front, it is just too much fabric and just too much! Will try to have it shortened to above the knee, maybe a bit higher. I think that will help the proportions and balance the sleeves, and just look and feel more summery and flattering. And less loud and tableclothish. I may have the sleeves shortened, too, which would be more feminine. A lot of work bc final sale.

I was skeptical about this dress. But when I tried it on, I fell in love with the fit and quality of the dress.
