Eye catching
September 17, 2020I usually go for simple (i.e., no patterns), but this dress just jumped out at me. I am so glad I made the purchase. Aside from the beautiful, bold pattern, it is comfortable and stylish. Great purchase!

Bright and fun
September 4, 2020So glad I took a chance on this dress. The blue is so pretty in person - I think the color would be flattering on everyone. I am tall and long waisted and tend to avoid short dresses, but this one is not too short. It is very comfortable and the neckline is flattering. I think I will enjoy this easy to wear dress for years to come.

Gorgeous print, but shape won't work for everyone
August 30, 2020I bought this a month or so ago and debated it for some time, as it's not the most flattering on my figure at the moment (thanks in part to quarantining for months), but I kept coming back to the print, which is one of the most gorgeous ones J. Crew has ever offered. I finally wore it recently and my spouse kept complimenting me on it. And, if like me, you're on video often for work and want something comfortable and stylish (that is you're looking to upgrade from t's as I was) - this definitely fits the bill. It also has pockets, which is always a plus! I gave it four stars for two reasons: 1) I wish J. Crew would have created a silhouette with this gorgeous fabric that would have been more universally flattering and 2) the one belt loop broke the first time I tried it on. While that's a simple fix, it's also annoying.

Too much
July 27, 2020I ordered this prior to the photo of it on the model. If I had seen that pic I would have known that this dress was just too "much". The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. I love the top part even though totally huge it was flattering. I'm always a fan of pockets too! I wish it had been a tunic style without the elastic. The elastic made it not work for me. It bunched funny and I just couldn't get it to look right. The belt was not helpful. The cotton slip in the lovely turquoise color was a nice touch. It just had too many details that made it not work for me. XS was huge. I am 5'4" and maybe 126# (gained weight these last months.) Too much fabric, elastic and fussiness. Not easy breezy pull on and go.
