July 29, 2023Bought this for my teenage daughter. We used the size chart to decide what size to order for her, but the size chart is inaccurate — the dress is a full size too large for her and not returnable or capable of being exchanged. Purchased a size 4. She is 5’5”, with a 27” waist.

Surprised!
June 18, 2023Was very surprised by how cute this dress was when I tried it on, despite what one of the reviews said! It fit great and I liked that it wasn’t too short, length is good! It’s final sale, so might be best to try it on in store first, but I loved it! Only complaint is the zipper is harder to get over the seam, but overall I love it!

Just…no.
June 4, 2023I thought this dress looked like a costume when I put it on. The material and print combination looked cheap and felt heavy for a summer dress. I bought a 0 and felt it was true to size if not slightly large. Epic fail in the chic and sophisticated department—there’s just too much material and busy print happening. And as a final note: this will be out of style next season. Not worth the price.

June 2, 2023This is a nice dress made with high quality fabric. The only issue for me is the amount of fabric at the bottom on my petite frame. I purchased my usual size 0 and I'm wondering if I need to go down to the 00 or maybe take it to the tailor and have some of the skirt removed. Otherwise, I love the look and fit. Just need to decide if it's worth keeping, exchanging, or returning. Give it a try though!

May 23, 2023Took a chance on this dress. Glad I did. More fabulous than expected. Nice weight. Go off or on shoulder. Length is almost perfect. Will hem slightly. I am on shorter side. Ver well made. Nice to see that J Crew is finally returning to their earlier years of nice dresses. Thank you! Make more colors please!,
