Eyelet midi dress

I love everything eyelet so of course I fell in love with this dress. This is great casual white dress.

I was surprised by the superior quality of the fabric. The eyelet with the pom-poms was fun and had character. The only problem I have with the dress and didn’t give it five stars was because of the way that the shoulder sits— There’s a lot of fabric there which makes it flaps upward like bat wings. I like the dress enough that I improvised and hand stitched the excess fabric together which is now much better. Overall a very nice purchase.

Yet one more item from JC that is too tiny in the shoulders and too short waisted, and yes I ordered a tall, waist hits on my ribs, ugh, stuck with it as final sale item. Might cut top off and make it a skirt. Fabric is very see through even though it's lined. Usually wear 2 or 4 and order a tall whenever possible. The 2 fits in the width but too short in waist. The ruffles at shoulders stand straight up, poor design.

Purchased during a great sale I feel sort of guilty for just wearing such a beauty around the house, but I guess that’s life in a pandemic! I feel beautiful and feminine in this- hugs in the right spots. I got my usual size 8 and it feels slightly snug on the top but maybe that’s from me snacking too hard during the second wave of the pandemic. Regardless, beautiful. I was looking for a chick black dress I would feel comfortable in and I achieved that! I bought the white too just because the price was so good. I had a feeling I’d be happy I did that and I certainly am! Thanks for making me look so good during covid, J crew!!

This is such a beautiful dress. It has a soft feel texture. The quality is great. I'm 5'6 and 137 lbs. I ordered a size 8 for more comfort due to the elastic waistband. I prefer to wear the sleeve on the shoulder.

I bought this dress about a month ago for work. You can dress it up or down. Love it
