Cute dress but some fit issues
July 21, 2022I find that this dress runs true to size, but I do have a couple issues with the fit, which might just be me. I’m 5’4” 115 pounds and my usual XS does fit overall. I am busty though (D cup) and the smocking is very tight, which besides being a bit uncomfortable, means that the upper part of the smocking against my neck doesn’t lie flat, it sticks out in like these folded sections against my collarbone. I didn’t have this problem with 3 other smocked dresses from J Crew this season so I’m bummed. Also, the waist drop is a bit low, with the pockets adding extra bulk - why are there pockets on this fun, flirty, flowy dress? All of the J Crew dresses this season have pockets :( . I’m already battling a chocolate addiction, I don’t need more weight around my waist and thighs! The blue and orange color pattern is absolutely marvelous against my fair skin and blue eyes. Great quality cotton.

Summer Love
July 14, 2022I bought this when it went on sale and got a size up because the small was sold out. The medium fits just fine because of the smocking. It’s a great summer dress that has a beautiful print. Love the open back! I don’t need a bra with it because the smocking on top holds me in place, for reference I’m a 34c. Very happy w this purchase:)

Light and comfortable!
June 10, 2022This dress is lovely! Wore it to a wine tasting which of course led to a full blown afternoon of events and it transitioned easily from the winery to a brewery and naturally a pizza experience. The print is so pretty and basically hides whatever you need it to. I’m a postpartum mom so believe me when I say my limited wardrobe expanded with this dress. It also has pockets!! Didn’t need to wear a bra as the top portion is soft, flattering, and adjustable in the back. Definitely a go to for anything in the summer. Would pair it with a fun wedge or cute flats!

Chic and easy to wear
June 10, 2022Unusual dress with sleek modern cut, smocking in front works to hold things together since you can't wear a bra, open back straps adjust if needed and print is just lovely in person, photo doesn't convey. Looks like a very $$ dress. Would think black color would be a stunning party dress.
