Super cute with sneakers or heels & a blazer
October 21, 2022Love this dress. I think it will be great with a jean jacket and sneakers for brunch or heels and a blazer for dinner. It is so cute and well made. I am slightly disappointed that it is so big but like at the same time that it doesn’t hug or snag anywhere. If I had to buy it again I’d buy two sizes down rather than erring on the side of sizing up from my regular size. Very happy with the purchase. Can’t wait to buy a couple of the other non-sequins slip dresses now.

Had to have it
September 16, 2022Full disclosure, I bought this for no other reason than I had to have it. I love this seasons slip dresses (have 3 others in solid colors) but when I saw this print with sequins I knew it had to be mine. This is so LUX, beautifully made. I do think it runs a tiny bit big, but I wouldn’t size down. Now if they could only make this in cheetah print…

Love this dress
September 14, 2022I don't know how much use I'll get out of this dress but I love it. Made me feel very sexy when I put it on. The fit is a little weird - it was a bit big in the chest (I'm a D) and gaped under the arms and fitted in the hips. I may get it altered or try with a different bra.

A dress with a twist
September 13, 2022I love this print and that this dress is all sequins is a PLUS. I love that it doesn't have stretch and is structured. The straps adjust. I have to add cups so I don't have to wear a bra. I sized down from a 6 to a 4 so it fits more snug than on the model but better for me than the looser one bc my midsection is short. I topped it with a leather moto fitted jacket and nude patent heels and it's gorgeous. Because I had to adjust the straps to shorten it up the sequins rub into my armpit area so the jacket helps with that rubbing (for me). I can't wait to wear it ... picked it up with no where specific to wear it but I think I will be looking for excuses to don this gem. I gave it a 4/4 because I haven't worn it and dealt with dry cleaning to know how it will hold up ... but fingers are crossed that will be a non-issue.

Dress up or down
August 31, 2022This dress might be one of my favorite purchases from JCrew ever! I can wear with a denim jacket and sneakers or dress it up in heels. The animal print is not over the top and the sequins make it special without making you feel like you’re wearing a prom dress. It’s gorgeous. I’m 5’6” and 148 lbs and ordered an 8. It fits true to size

August 4, 2022Sequins during the day? Of course, after this pandemic experience, I wear out during the day fashions that I enjoy wearing and not for anybody else! Beautiful dress, size perfect. Vintage J.Crew print of zebra's with a touch of sparkle, stunning in the daytime sun but not overly showy. Size 00 - 32AA, 24, 34". A bit loose at the top because of my frame (used to it) but adjustable straps! Off to errands I go making a gentle statement for the world, Live and be yourself, You only have one chance and one day at a time....don't wait for that "event" to wear it, just wear it and make the "event" for just you!
