Linen daydream dress

This dress is a bit odd. I think it would look much better if it was made of a thinner, lighter material. The linen is of nice quality but it is stiff and thick and holds this big, tent-ish shape. On me, this is most noticeable on the arms. I am a pear shape and am small on top and bigger on the bottom. It is hard for me to achieve the linebacker look but this dress does it. The bodice is tight and short but you could fit two of me into the sleeves and skirt. Hoping a wash will make the fabric less stiff. I plan to put a jacket or big cardigan on top to hide the sleeves. I might have the sleeves reduced by a tailor. For reference, I’m 5’4”, 110 lbs, and purchased an XS.

I fell in love with this dress when seeing it and stalked it. I was so happy when it came back in stock and it did not disappointment. Some reviews say this dress runs big, I didn't notice that at all. If anything I feel like it runs true to size/a touch small (i wear a 32DDD). Anyways, it's well made and beautiful!

I am absolutely obsessed with this dress. Fits pretty true to size. The material is a heavier linen but it feels quality. The side slit is a bit on the higher side, but I love it!

The fabric itself is nice, but the fit for someone how is 5'2" is terrible. I talked into the room after trying the dress on at home, and my husband was silently stunned and my young son said, "You look fat. Your arms look like balloons." Length is fine, but otherwise, the fit is terrible.

I was hoping to love this dress but I didn't find it flattering to my curves. It's a thick cotton, which is nice, but smocking didn't flatter my chest and looks ridiculous on me. Does run quite large.

This dress is so beautiful. I can’t wait to dress it up with heels or down with flats. I bought white and I’m going to buy it in every color. It is well made and very flattering on my hour glass shape. Beautiful quality linen.
