Linen wrap dress in tossed floral

I love a good wrap dress. I also love the floral green pattern. I ordered a size up to make sure that it wrapped enough and that it covered enough. Basically, I love the body of this dress, but the arms are giant and to me, entirely ridiculous. I bought this final sale, so I'm stuck with it. I sew, so I'll probably remove the arms and use it as a tank dress, or remove the arms and remake them smaller, still loose but not so clown like. So tired of these prairie/poofy styles.

I am writing this review and hoping to see more reviews to help me understand the fit of the top of this dress. I keep looking for an interior snap to help keep the it closed I think that would have solved the problem of it being so revealing. I could add a safety pin but that might look obvious and ruin the look of the dress. Its a cute fabric and print and style otherwise, maybe just works better if you're smaller up top. Or accept revealing more cleavage which limits where I can where this. I am a size 10 and purchased the medium which was recommended, it does just fit so maybe that's the problem although I think a large would be too big in other places and might just reveal more. Looking forward to reading what others think.
